Oviraptor could probably raise its tail
A new study shows that Oviraptor's compacted caudal vertebrae may actually have yielded peacock-style behavior in the animal. One theory is that this ability to raise the tail might have been used during mating rituals for shaking a small fan of feathers on the end of its tail.
