Yep. And plesiosaurs and ichthyosaurs, though descended from cold-blooded ancestors, somehow evolved to be homeothermic and had body temperatures much greater than that of the water around them.schnautzr wrote:Woot for science...mosasaurs were cold-blooded!
Ah, don't you just love what isotope studies can turn out?

Re: DinoMania Trivia!
Oh, gosh..I want to say the spinosaurs, but I thought that was all just speculation without reason. My second guess is the ceratopsians...they were just discovered in Europe.

Hmmmm, the ceratopsians are more convincing to me. I'll go with them.

Also incorrect.
Lol, I would have thought this one would have been fairly obvious.

I thought spinosaurs were the obvious ones. Then schnautzr said it was speculation, so I thought it was speculation.

Well, no one said that the obvious one is always never the answer. : PTherizinosaur wrote:I thought spinosaurs were the obvious ones. Then schnautzr said it was speculation, so I thought it was speculation.
Actually when I asked Schnautzr to make his choice, I was tempted to hint that it was the spinosaurs, but figured someone would get it.... eventually. : P
